Desert Island Comics, New York
Desert Island Comics is a comic store in Brooklyn, New York. Founded by Gabriel Fowler in 2008, the store celebrates and sells underground and alternative comics.
The store recently curated an online project titled ‘Rescue Party’, inviting artists and illustrators to create comics on the theme of what life might be like post-coronavirus.
‘Lockdown Hats’ is a collaborative piece of work created with motion designer @picturemover that was chosen for the project.
